My Pumpkins are ready! I trundled down to the veggie patch this morning and lift them up, gave them a tap on the botton and the hollow sound was music to my ears!
The thing to do with pumpkins once you cut them off the vine is to give them a couple days outside so that the skin hardens a little - this will help them keep longer.
Pumpkin soup here we come!
