Triple choc brownies

I honestly can’t believe that I have waited so long to make these brownies. In fact, I think this is actually the first time I have ever made brownies!
I was in charge of bringing along something for dessert for a movie night at a friends place, and browsing through my orange recipe book with the flowers on it, I knew that this one was a winner. Not only did they work beautifully as dessert, they were also great as movie snacks as the night progressed.
Easy to make and delicious to eat, I’ll be making these again before too long.
Using a double boiler, melt together 150g of chopped butter with 200g chopped dark chocolate. Once smooth and melted, set aside to cool for 10 minutes. Next add two lightly whisked eggs and ½ cup caster sugar. Stir in to combine. Add 1 ¼ cups plain flour and mix together until you have a stiff batter. Gently fold in 150g chopped white chocolate and 100g chopped milk chocolate. Pour into a deep, square 19cm pan and cook in a moderate oven for about 35 minutes, until the top of the brownies feels hard. Allow to cool, then slice into squares and serve. Mmmmm.
